THE DAVINCI CODE

The Website Workshop*

a website, if built right, is a fluid container

This workshop was created to help entrepreneurs who are involved in the process of building their websites.

A great resource for anyone curious about how to build an optimized homepage, organize content, and establish trust through storytelling.

How can I best share my wisdom with you?

I recently did a workshop for the attendees of The College of Extraordinary Experiences (2023), following the facilitated experience. In the workshop, I shared my greatest hack, secret, and knowledge pertaining to entrepreneurship, websites, and efficiency.

The workshop was called The Davinci Code of Websites.

We cover the foundations of a website so that the creator can change their website as their vision evolves. Using the template or “story arc” one can create a site with clear communication, ease, and impact.

More about the workshop >

I have found that the most empowering way to help people realize their business or professional identity is by using the platform of a website. It is simple because there is a story arc that all efficient and resonant websites use. And it is VERY useful to know it.

Therefore, if you would like to create your own website or collaborate on one in the future, with ease and confidence – I did a free workshop that teaches you how. It simplifies the content organization and structure so that you can create something that follows the organic flow of a conversation.

I do not cover anything platform-specific (ie. Squarespace, Kajabi, Shopify, etc) but instead, I cover the foundations and story arc (template) that every great website uses.

It is most useful for anyone looking to create a website or revamp their existing one. It simplifies communication, explores pacing through colour blocking, and helps you translate your thoughts into simple visuals and words.

THE TAKEAWAYS?

Websites utilizing the story arc (aka Davinci Code) are everywhere. If know the containers and their order, you will begin to view websites as puzzles and know how to make them better. Just remember:

  • pink circle underlined with a squiggly line. under the circle it says the word apple

    Always Show and Tell

Think basic. Write content for a fifth grader, and always make sure you imprint by putting visuals with words.

Example Copy: I am Justine and I am a visionary

Example Picture: Justine is standing with a giant eye; looking like a visionary. [Shown above]

  • three pink circles and one olive green circle all connected by one wiggly bending line

    You are the Thread

If you have multiple offerings, jobs, or skill flexes that you want to offer but can’t find one word to embody them all, you don’t need multiple websites.

You need to know that you are the connection between your offerings - you are the brand!

Important: you can change at any time, and you should!

  • a pink circle facing an outline of an oval, referencing a mirror. In it is an olive green circle in the oval

    A Self-Created Mirror

I am passionate about websites because they are the greatest tool I have found that enables you to see, to believe in yourself - use it!

Overnight you can have something public that shows you as the newest version of yourself. And hopefully your greatest!
